Tiffany Williams TJ Marie

I’m the founder of TJ Marie Consulting. For more than 14 years, I’ve been honored to have engaged with some of the most amazing nonprofit clients undertaking impactful work in their communities. I’ve worked in just about every sector and partnered with organizations all across the US and Canada.

I’ve helped my clients secure nearly a billion dollars in philanthropic support for their projects and missions.

I love talking to my colleagues in the industry – exploring how we can better serve the sector, and learning from other nonprofit and fundraising experts! I’ve facilitated workshops and presented on various fundraising topics as a thought leader for the Association of Nonprofit Professionals (AFP), the Young Nonprofit Network (YNPN), and the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits (ACN). I was a featured panelist for Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Institute Women in Philanthropy 2020 Symposium Virtual Series and was a featured guest with iHeart Radio’s WVON HER Wintrust Series and The Riveter. I was honored to give the keynote address to the new scholars in the Panda Cares Scholars Program – a partnership with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

My passion for philanthropy and social impact extends beyond my consultant career. I’m also the CEO and Founder of Givly, a universal giving and stewarding platform designed to inspire and harness the philanthropic spirit among young donors. Givly intersects technology and donor psychology to meet its nonprofit customers' critical and unique needs, allowing them to easily access their donors to cultivate, request the support of, and steward supporters. Learn more about givly here!

My clients would describe me as results-driven – employing a focused approach to identifying beneficial opportunities and responding to challenges with urgency and persistence.

I pride myself in bringing a creative, responsive, and positive approach to each engagement, and measure success by the ability to create meaningful relationships with clients. Perhaps more importantly, I endeavor to help my clients engage more effectively with their own teams, current supporters, and prospective donors. These measured and purposeful interactions have resulted in multimillion-dollar leadership gifts and immeasurable long-term relationships, support, and advocacy.

I’m a Southern girl – I’m a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and reside in Chicago with my puppy, Chloe!  As you can see, I’m pretty busy, but when I’m not working, I love exploring new places, cooking, and live music!

Enough about me. Tell me about you!
